I am currently going quite insane.
At college I was asked to sign up for one of 5 workshops, the choices being: visual communication, paint, stitch, 3D or Photoshop.
I chose Photoshop, thinking it would be a breath of fresh air and a change from the style of art we have been doing for the past few weeks.
How very wrong I was.
Now, I consider myself to be an amateur at Photoshop, you know...I know the tools and how to ajdust images, how to colour lineart etc. But seriously, this lesson is all about being taught the tools, "now guys, this is the paintbrush" and the downright basics. Which is useful for the beginners I guess, but quite a few of us have used this program before. And they're encouraging us to use filters.
Filters.
Now I don't know about you, but I really consider using filters as, well...cheating almost? They're so damn easy to use it's like you couldn't be arsed to make an effort.
I want to be taught something new. Challenge me. Excite me, for God's sake.

Anyway, on a happier note I'm going to see Mindless Self Indulgence this evening. :]
It's my first gig since the crazed events of Reading, and I must say I need it.

Oh and I've given up smoking as of today. Help boost my morale! I can feel my willpower wavering already.

Things I need to do:
Buy a camera.
See *RabidDog45
Stop working so much.
Do more college work.
Tidy my room.
